What Shadow 9.0 is like

Shadow reaches its ninth Halloween edition, this year at El Manjar de Talamanca, an events estate in Talamanca de Jarama, north of Madrid. Open from 11:30 pm to 6 am on Saturday 31, and your ticket includes an open bar all night. Places are limited and prices go up in tiers, so book early. Come in costume.

How to get there

Ctra. Alcalá-Torrelaguna (M-103), km 22,6, 28160 Talamanca de Jarama (Madrid)

El Manjar de Talamanca is on the M-103 road (Alcalá–Torrelaguna), km 22.6, about 45 minutes from Madrid. The easiest way is to go as a group by ride-hailing app or taxi; if you drive, the driver shouldn’t drink, as there’s an open bar. Plan your way back in advance: there are few cars around at 6 am.

At the door: age, ID and costume

• Minimum age: 18+, with your original ID, passport or driving licence.
• Costume recommended: it’s a Halloween themed party. Avoid masks that cover your face or props that look like weapons.
• A ticket doesn’t guarantee entry: the door has the final say.
