AMOK is one of Mallorca’s big electronic music clubs, in S’Aranjassa near Palma airport. To see the year out it opens at 11:45 pm, so you can arrive just in time for the midnight chimes, and Mentiroso NYE goes on until 6 am with house, tech house and techno.

AMOK is in S’Aranjassa, about 3 km from Palma airport and around 15 minutes from the centre by taxi. Taxis are in high demand on New Year’s Eve: book in advance. If you drive, there’s free parking, but the driver shouldn’t drink.

At the door: age, ID and dress code

• Minimum age: 18+, with your original ID, passport or driving licence.
• Semi-formal dress code: suit for men, dress for women. No trainers or casual clothes: the door is strict on New Year’s Eve.
