Sala de Despecho opens early, at 20:00, so things get going earlier than at most clubs — ideal if you don’t want a very late night or fancy an after-work start. If you’re on the guest list, mind the cut-off time (Mondays, until 23:30): arrive 15–20 minutes early, as there may be a queue.
At the door: age, ID and dress code
To get into Sala de Despecho you must be 18+ and bring your original ID card, passport or driving licence (no photos or copies). The dress code is casual: informal but neat clothes; avoid flip-flops, swimwear or very sporty clothing. The final decision at the door is always the venue’s, which reserves the right of admission.
Arrive as a group with the booking under one name — you’ll get in much faster. If someone in your group doesn’t meet the age or dress code, better to know beforehand: ask us and we’ll suggest another option.
Getting home
The Madrid Metro closes around 1:30 am and reopens at about 6 am, so when you leave your options are night buses (“búhos”), taxis or ride-hailing apps. In a group, sharing a taxi is usually the easiest and cheapest option. To get there, the nearest Metro stations in the area are Colón (L4), Serrano (L4), Velázquez (L4), Núñez de Balboa (L5, L9) and Rubén Darío (L5).
