When to go and what time to arrive
Hipódromo de la Zarzuela opens early, at 18:00, so things get going earlier than at most clubs — ideal if you don’t want a very late night or fancy an after-work start. If you’re on the guest list, mind the cut-off time (until 19:00): arrive 15–20 minutes early, as there may be a queue.
At the door: age, ID and dress code
To get into Hipódromo de la Zarzuela you must be 18+ and bring your original ID card, passport or driving licence (no photos or copies). The dress code is smart: shirt or polo, long trousers and proper shoes; avoid sportswear, flip-flops and caps. The final decision at the door is always the venue’s, which reserves the right of admission.
Arrive as a group with the booking under one name — you’ll get in much faster. If someone in your group doesn’t meet the age or dress code, better to know beforehand: ask us and we’ll suggest another option.
Getting home
The Madrid Metro closes around 1:30 am and reopens at about 6 am, so when you leave your options are night buses (“búhos”), taxis or ride-hailing apps. In a group, sharing a taxi is usually the easiest and cheapest option.
