What Downtown is like
Downtown Barcelona is in the venue that used to be Up&Down, one of the city’s legendary clubs. It’s a very big room known for its party production, with different themes every week, special effects and stage sets. Resident DJs play commercial, reggaeton and international hits.
It’s surrounded by universities, so the crowd is young, with lots of local and Erasmus students. Friday is the busiest night, and there are occasional special events like Sunday afternoon parties.

- Guest list: free entry depending on the night; on Fridays and Saturdays the list is 21+.

Downtown is on Avenida Doctor Marañón, next to the Real Club de Polo and very close to Camp Nou. The nearest metro stop is Zona Universitària (L3).
At the door: age, ID and dress code
- Minimum age: 18; on the free list, 21 on Fridays and Saturdays. Bring an original ID or passport.
- Smart casual dress code: no trainers or sportswear.
- It fills up around 2 am: if you’re on the list, arrive earlier.
